Oh geez. This is one of those “Whoopsie” moments, where some well-intended social media rep decided to make a post that just could do nothing right – despite his or her better intentions.

UK-based fashion retailer Asos recently posted an image of its interns using its Twitter career account (Asos_Careers). While the image is rather tame (they look like lovely people), you will notice the interns all share one attribute: the colour of their skin.

Of course, the internet was quick to pick up on the lack of diversity. Are we surprised? Kudos to those who spoke out – this is an ongoing issue in the workplace, and one which has yet to find a solution.
